Benefit's Countdown To Love! Review

I started my advent calendar a bit early and have now finished all of the days, in my defensice though I had purchased this back in October so I am surprised that I held out this long! My overall opinion of this was that it is indeed expensive but I feel it is a great product. I am not someone who often uses up a full sized product so for me this is a great way to try out a number of items and I know if I use any of them completely then it would be something worth me investing in the full size. Here is my impression on each of these items...
I am going to group all the lip glosses together because I have a similar opinion of them all. I love the texture of these glosses, very smooth, not at all sticky and not at all like anything I've tried before. I enjoy all four colors, the payoff is a bit sheer but I like that. The only this I dislike about these is that they are very shiny! To the point where in the right lighting they can almost give off a slight matalic look but other than that they are great.
The middle picture is coming off as slightly dark but the swatch colors look true. These blushes and bronzer are nice, soft and pigmented in a forgiving manner. The first time trying the bronzer being a soft product I got way too much color but it easily blended out with a pleasant finished look. I have been using these for a while now and really enjoy them.

I will be the first to admit that I am horrible at reviewing face/eye creams. I like both of these and you are given a rather generous size to try which is great. I had previously been using philosophy products before giving these a try and don't really notice any difference.
I am not someone who normally uses foundation/ a lot of face make up daily. I tried the face primer once but for someone like me really didn't notice much of a difference. The eye primer works fine, though I did end up with some creasing.  It is not my favorite and I will be sticking with the Nars eye primer.
Bad gal liner is okay however it comes off as more of a dark grey toned liner than a true black. I was not impressed with the mascara, it has a typical bristle brush but did not give the effect I was hoping for.
These are fun cheek and lip tints, though I dislike them for my cheeks and only use them on my lips. Swatching these as you can probably tell in the picture there is a difference in textures. Benetint is a true liquid while the other two are a bit thicker in texture. I can't speak much for their staying power but after taking this picture I did wipe them off and was left with this.
I am not sure how long it will last but it did leave a nice color behind.
I don't have much to say about these highlighters, I enjoy them and. Little definitely goes a long way so I am not sure if I will ever make it thorough a full sample so in this case it's the perfect amount. This box also included sunbeam which I seem to have misplaced so if I find it I will add in a picture later but I really haven't used it yet.

I am honestly not really sure what to do with this? I believe it is for under eyes and have tried it a few times but didn't notice any difference. I must look into this a bit more. Next up is what I have heard the most complaints about with this product, the "jewelry".
These got seemingly worse as it went on.  It started off with the now clip, a bit childish looking but I think I will get some use from it at least once. Next was my favorite, the bracelet. This is a thin preice of stretchy cord with a very cheap feeling gold charm. Normally I would agree that this is horrible and you could find better quality in a gum ball machine, however I do actually like the way this looks with a beaded pearl bracelet that I own (bottom picture). I do also enjoy that the band is stretchy because in an emergency this could double as a hair band. Last is the "necklace" this is bad, very bad. The only place this belongs is in the trash, or maybe used to tie a gift. No adult or even teen would appreciate this, unless you know a 3-6 year old who enjoys bubble gum machine jewelry this will most likely go to waste.
The last product this set included is porefessional, where has this been all of my life? This is now an every day product for me and I don't know what I did without it. As you can see pictured next to the sample is a full sized product that I went out and bought right away. I didn't want to use this all first because I don't want to go without it. I have heard that there is a new pore powder product, I have been on the look out for it and hope to try it soon.

That sums up my review of this set. In my opinion it was well worth the money. I have discovered some products that I now love and it has been a fun 24 days of surprises. This was my first experience with benefit products and what better way to try them out?

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear-- Golden-I

Indoor lighting
Natural lighting

Lately I have really been enjoying gold tones which has lead me to fall in love with this nail color! I have owned this color for almost two year now and have only worn it a few times but I feel that is soon to change. Today I was on the hunt for some fun festive Christmas nails, though this isn't the look I originally had in mind I feel this is the perfect color for a very classic looking festive nail.
